Privacy policy

This privacy policy describes how I, Leena Hyttinen, process the personal data of my customers and users across my website leenahyttinen.fi.

I value and respect your privacy and only ask for personal information if I need it to administer your purchases, answer your messages or provide a service you have requested.

I don’t share your personal information with others, unless it is required by law or if practically required to deliver the purchased items to you. Also, I don’t use the information for marketing purposes unless you have authorized it by subscribing to my newsletter.

If and when it is necessary to store your personal information, I’ll do my best to protect it from loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. I am the only person who has access to the information. However, please understand that transmitting information online is never fool-proof.

I collect the following information for safely executing orders at the online shop:

  • Your name
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address (if different from order address)
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Notes (optional)
  • Technical data such as ip address, browser and device

When you place an order, the order and payment is arranged by a third-party service provider. I use Google Analytics on my site to anonymously collect visitor data in order to gain insights on how my website is used. This data is administered and stored by Google. I use the information provided by Google Analytics to tweak the functionality of my website and its SEO. Google Analytics uses cookies to detect and provide me information such as user demographics, user movements around the website, and which device (desktop, mobile or tablet) and browser is used for browsing the website. Some pages on my website may include embedded content (mainly videos). Embedded content from other websites (such as YouTube) behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Also, any comments or messages you leave me via contact form may be checked through an automated spam detection services.

If you have purchased something from my shop or have contacted me through the contact form on my site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
